We therefore only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes stated here or for the various storage periods stipulated by law. Once the respective purpose no longer applies or these periods have expired, the corresponding data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.

Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)

We use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on this website to display our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers. Google web fonts are transferred to the cache of your browser to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google web fonts or prevents access, content is displayed in a standard font.

Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. It is theoretically possible – although it is currently unclear whether and for what purposes – that operators of such libraries collect data.

The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to visualise geographical information. When Google Maps is used, Google also collects, processes and utilises data about the use of the map functions by visitors. You can find more information about data processing by Google in the Google data protection information. You can also change your personal data protection settings there in the data protection centre.
Detailed instructions on managing your own data in connection with Google products can be found here.

Embedded YouTube videos

We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. YouTube is informed which pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.
When a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behaviour.

If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad programme, you will not have to expect any such cookies when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personalised usage information in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser.

Further information on data protection at “Youtube” can be found in the provider’s privacy policy.

Use of Google Adwords conversion tracking

We use the online advertising programme “Google AdWords” and conversion tracking as part of Google AdWords. Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). When you click on an advert placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is stored on your computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification.

If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognise that you have clicked on the ad and have been redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. It is therefore not possible for cookies to be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers.

The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. This tells customers the total number of users who clicked on their advert and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by preventing the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly (deactivation option). You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. Further information and Google’s privacy policy can be found at: http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/, http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analysis service (analysis tracking tool) of the American company Google Inc. For the European area, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, is responsible for all Google services. Cookies are used for this purpose – these are text files that are stored on your end device and thus enable your use of this website to be analysed. This data is processed on the basis of a legitimate interest in order to create easy-to-use website access statistics in a cost-efficient manner (see Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). The information generated in this way about your use of our website (including your anonymised IP address and the URLs of the web pages accessed) is usually transferred to servers in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will only be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there in exceptional cases. Google will use this information on our behalf to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can deactivate the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. In this case, however, we expressly point out that you may not be able to use all the functions of our website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting data in connection with Google Analytics by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Use of Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager on our website. This is a solution that can be used to manage website tags. The tool itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-less domain and does not process or store any personal data. The service provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, parent company Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

Use of social plugins

Our website uses so-called social plugins (“plugins”) of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). An overview of the Facebook plugins and their appearance can be found here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins

In order to increase the protection of your data when you visit our website, the plugins are integrated into the page using a so-called “2-click” or “Shariff” solution. This integration ensures that no connection to the Facebook servers is established when you access a page on our website that contains such plugins. Your browser only establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers when you activate the plugins and thus give your consent to data transmission. The content of the respective plugin is transmitted directly to your browser and integrated into the page. The plugin then transmits data (including your IP address) to Facebook. We have no influence on the scope of the data that Facebook collects with the help of the plugins. To the best of our knowledge, Facebook receives information about which of our websites you have currently and previously visited. By integrating the plugins, Facebook also receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website even if you do not have a Facebook profile or are not currently logged in. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the “Like” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on Facebook and displayed to your contacts there.
The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in Facebook’s data protection information.
If you are a member of the Facebook social network and would like to limit the collection of data via our websites and the merging of your user data with the data stored about you on the Facebook social network, you should log out of Facebook before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent Facebook plugins from loading in the future by using add-ons for your browser, e.g. the script blocker “NoScript”.

SSL encryption

To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the character string “https://” and the lock symbol in your browser line

Data transfer

For the purpose of contract processing, it may be necessary to pass on your personal data to internal and external service providers (suppliers/partner companies, banks/payment service providers, transport companies/shipping companies). The aforementioned third parties are authorised by Voith – Werke Ing. A. Fritz Voith Gesellschaft m.b.H. & Co. KG. within the meaning of § 48 DSG 2018 (Data Protection Adaptation Act 2018) as processors and are obliged to guarantee data security in accordance with § 54 DSG.

Your rights to information, rectification, blocking, erasure and objection

You have the right to obtain information about your personal data stored by us at any time. You also have the right to have your personal data corrected, blocked or, apart from the prescribed data storage for business processing, deleted. Please contact our data protection officer. You will find the contact details below. To ensure that data can be blocked at any time, this data must be stored in a lock file for control purposes. You can also request the deletion of the data if there is no legal archiving obligation. If such an obligation exists, we will block your data on request. You can make changes or withdraw your consent by notifying us accordingly with effect for the future.

Changes to our data protection provisions

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy from time to time so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy, e.g. when introducing new services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
